Feeling so lost on my journey - Need advice

Hey everyone,

I'm a long time member and lurker here on BHW and through the lessons here, I've been able to build up a site from 0 to 100k sessions before I was hit by UGC. I monetize the site via Mediavine and during its peak it was making $2000 per month, but I have since dropped to $200 and nothing I've tried has been working.

The entire site is written by me, an expert in the site's niche, yet Google ranks shit rather than my stuff. I let the site go to the sideline while I try other ventures.

So far I have:
- Tried performance affiliate marketing (can't afford the spy tools, the trackers...)
- Growing a twitter account (spent 6 months on it, got nowhere)
- Reactivating my Fiverr writing services has been dead dead (I used to make $400 there)
- I tried numerous method that I bought here, but nothing is sustainable

What would your course of action be in my situation. I work full time in SEO and content in the iGaming industry, so I know my stuff when it comes to SEO, but I don't think starting new sites is the right thing to do.

Need advice.

I'd personally forget about organic traffic and create content that can be promoted directly to the target audience through ads and free promotion techniques.

By working in SEO as my day job, I'm starting to feel the same, without insane budgets for both content and PR/outreach white hat link building, it just feel like the times where you could easily build a 100k monthly session blog in 2 years are over.

Do you use Mediavine's banner ads on your site? Do you get paid by clicks or impressions?

Yes, 2k with 100k sessions. My RPMs float around $14 since I'm not in a hot niche such as finance or tech.
