Changing Niche

Hello, so I have tried a certain niche but it doesn't really work out pretty well and I would like to change niche totally

By changing niche I mean the content and the language.

Do you think it's a good idea or I should start from scratch with a brand new account knowing that it's already monetised?

Depends on how many subscribers you have already acquired from the previous niche.

It depends. Does your channel have a lot of subs already? Do you have a close connection with your audience? If both are yes, then it might not be good for your fans if you suddenly change the language and content because it might alienate them. This might make your metrics worse because in the eyes of Youtube, your engagement suddenly went down it might think that your content quality going down is the reason for this. It's better to just make a new channel. Clean slate and everything. You can still build up this channel while also growing the newer one.

Start a new channel. Changing on same channel is not something Youtube will like.

Do not change niche on same channel. It is not a good sign and shows you are not serious with YouTube work.

I am really curious about that topic because we buy channel that is used for different niches and then we upload different stuff and got views without problem. But in your position I would go for a new channel I guess. Because your new videos will be suggested to your subscribers which is expecting different kind of videos and immediately leave the video and that is a bad sign for youtube to recommend your videos to outside of your community.

If it’s already monetized, I’d stick with the current account. Just slowly change the content to the new niche to see how your audience reacts. Starting from scratch is a big risk unless the old niche is completely dead.
