Quora for promoting a product?

Hey guys, this is my first post on this forum

I just wondering if any of you uses Quora to promote a website/product, more than a promotion a mention...

What I'm doing is helping users on my niche with their questions but at the end including something like "By the way, I used {product name} to scale my website from 0 to 10k traffic" without including any link to the tool, just a mention.

Does this help to get more traffic/users or there's a better way to do it?
I tried to do something similar in Reddit but adding links and I got banned within a week, ouch

Especially after the big hype of AI and Openai new GPT releases, farming accounts is much easier and scalable,
You'll have to make your A/B tests tho, depends on your experience, niche(s), product(s), etc...

That's actually a very common method. And over time it kinda saturated. I would say that if you want to go this route, then farm 10-20 quora accounts and automate the process of doing this on those 10-20 accounts. Difficult? But that's the only way to get some measurable results from quora these days

Reddit algorithams are more strict than quora. It does not accept any link form new account, even comments.
