Hello BHW members.
Yesterday one of my reels was deleted by instagram for allegedly promoting fraud or scam content (not true). They restricted my account where I can not go live for 30 day, cant reply to messages for 3 days, my reels are getting pushed only to my followers.

I honestly do not care about the 30 days ban or the messages ban, but the problem is that my reels were getting 30k-50k views and now they are getting 10k-15k views only because Instagram does not push them to non followers.
Has anyone experience something like this and how can I solve this or how long does the restriction for reaching non followers last? Thanks!

you're cooked

No, but getting hit with that is always super terrible for an account. I've had that happen to accounts before and they never really recovered fully.

They don't give you an option to appeal their decision?

You are probably right... I just started making good money with this account and than this happened. I appealed it right after I got the notification that it was restricted and they immediately rejected the appeal. This morning I appealed again and so far no response.

Yes I appealed, but they rejected the appeal. Now I am left with a account with over 80k followers that probably wont be able to gain good traffic ever again.

I had this back in 2021 happening to my then only account. I got eventually rid of it (idk how long it took, but probably 30+ days.
The way I did it:
I made my account private, your account is basically private now so it doesnt really matter. And all the shared posts generate followers because if you are private, the receiver doesnt see the post, and most likely requests to follow you.
I also used a badly optimized M/S method, with literally one account. (which actually gave me a few hundred followers)
I drastically reduced posting on this account. I used to post every 4 hours, i reduced it to every 1-2 days.
And every week I changed my profile to public again, waited 2 days to see if I reached any non followers, if not rinse and repeat until you are (hopefully) free.

I cant tell you 100% that this works, but it kinda worked for me. (atleast I guess, it couldve been a fixed period but these changes help you to not lose a massive amount of following)

Keep posting.
Post lots of stories and engage with other accounts.
