Black Hat tools aren't worth it any more

I've seen a bunch of threads asking what tools to use recently and, maybe, they are a bit vague and, maybe, they are asked by the noobs that probably shouldn't be using a BH linking tool without a clue but...

And this is a big butt in my opinion...

What fucking forum is this? Is this the mighty Black Hat World or is it some fucking kindergarten?

Where are people's balls, where is the will to stick it to Google and get rich.

I created No Hands SEO, back in the day, over 13 years ago now and, wow how things have changed. I don't see much change in the algorithm tbh, there are still things to be exploited so it really makes my heart sink when I see such grand claims like "all BH tools are dead" and the like. I am shocked and saddened by this tbh. Have we fallen so far that we now just take Google at their word and assume we can't compete with the big guys?

Well, fuck that!

Now, I have my issue with some (lying, idea stealing scumbags) app developers so I'm not going to give any shout outs here (it would be obvious who I think are total cunts) but even they offer some tools that can really help do your tasks.

Black Hat isn't just about backlinks (though obv that is a big part of it). Black Hat is an ethos, an idea. Black Hat is sticking it to the man and empowering the little guy to outrank them for some keywords. We may not get all of the ranks but we should be helping each other get those ranks rather than just blurting out "no BH tools work".

By all means, warn people of the dangers of using such tools but to describe all BH tools as dead is as insane as it is incorrect. Do you really think there are no BH sites ranking? No tools? No techniques? Go look at the headlines in this sub and tell me you don't see working products in the headlines, working methods and the like.

BH is still alive, let's not bring on the end to this great forum by constantly telling people that they can't do anything but post new content and wait, that is far more damaging to their business success.

I used DHG Pro, it wasn't a scam, it simplifies what can be achieved with scrapebox sure but in doing so adds value in my opinion.

Slow down? You called me a scam without any rhyme or reason. Would you calm down if someone walked into your thread and called your product a scam, for no reason?

That is not acceptable. If you think I'm a scammer open a shit list, otherwise you shouldn't be making comments like that.

There is no tool that does what DHG does for free, or a single payment or even a cheaper monthly payment. I really didn't want to do this but you forced me. Go do a reverse search in SB, you can't. Search keyword domains in SB, you can't. Included stats? Nope. Domain auctions? Nope.

The analysis tools are not comparable, site restorer is not comparable even just the whole setup and UI is so much more capable than SB, objectively so.

This is before I mention that DHG will return more domains per page than SB and will crawl pages faster finishing jobs more quickly and with more domains. If you want to miss out on domains and have far less features and tools at your disposal then yeah sure go play with SB but DHG is different and caters to a different set of customers.

I'm not saying SB doesn't work, it does for a lot of uses but is not at all comparable to a dedicated tool like DHG.

To label my product as a scam because you don't understand where the value in it comes from is infuriating and uncalled for.

Edit: If you think something is overpriced then say that. Saying something is a scam because you don't know why it costs what it does is totally unfair.

If people are attempting to work in BH SEO without using tools of some sort (whether they be commercially available, self coded, or cobbled together using no-code platforms and connectors), then they're doing so very ineffectively. There has always been some kind of automation behind BH SEO - guestbook spammers, reffy/prstorm, OG xrumer forum posts, fantomas page generators... There is no way to bulk build pages and backlinks by hand unless you have a small army of workers, and where's the profit in that?

tbh still BHW the best forum on the field. if u do remember warriorforum and others. all made some stup*d changes.. while bhw still the freeest hub in IM business.. I understand their rules when it comes to black hat tools. that is impact their search position in google and might get banned at all.

I remember no hands SEO and i used it pretty frequently. It was one of my favorite programs.

There used to be new tools released all the time, which i actually loved. It created competition on who could build the best SEO tool I had bought all of them and tried all of them out. Seems like now there is only a new effective tool release every couple of years? Unless i'm just missing the boat on new ones.

but yeah i totally agree, all i read on these forums now is don't use tools don't do that, don't go against google etc. etc.. Deff not the same as it was just even 3 years ago.

I don't think this is breaking the rules of self promotion but I haven't sold NHSEO for many years at this point. That software was the shit back in the day. When it first released people were genuinely getting top rankings by running it lol.

Google put out an intentionally dishonest post about keyword stuffing and made it look like they were talking about NHSEO directly. In the post about keyword stuffing, they had an image as an example of keyword stuffing with "NHSEO" and "No Hands SEO" repeatedly written.

People took that as an explicit message from Google that NHSEO no longer worked. It infuriated me at the time as NHSEO had nothing to do with keyword stuffing but as time passed I learnt a lot from that time. It showed just how strong the message from an authority is and that people will believe something incorrect despite showing them unequivocal proof of the opposite. That post, likely, cost me many thousands.

I wish I could find that post now. I thought it was on matt cutts' blog but I can't find anything.

Oh shit, I found it.

What pissed me off at the time was people saw the image with the keyword stuffing example and instantly jumped to the conclusion that Google were stating that NHSEO no longer worked despite NHSEO having nothing to do with keyword stuffing and there was no mention of commenting or backlinks at all.

I suppose I should feel proud, somehow, that people thought I was important enough to personally spur on a Google update but I don't think it ran that deep. Maybe Matt is far sneakier than I think he is but who really knows. Either way, I thought that was interesting.

That was 12+ fucking years ago lol.
