My Journey selling IPTV (online television service)

Hi BHW. I have been wanting to join the forum for some time but anyways wasn't doing any online business, I have decided to go again and start an IPTV business.

So I thought it was good time to get in the forum, as I have something to share.

Please don't send me messages about the IPTV provider or anything related, you can ask in the thread. Channels are suited for my region anyway.


Lets get right into it

IPTV is a type of online streaming where tv channels are streamed usually in an android app. The service I'm working with has 1800 live channels, 20.000 movies on demand, and 1900 tv shows on demand.

I tested it and it works pretty good, 95% stable I would say, meaning here and then some channel will stop working. But if you text this guy, he fixes it quickly. Good quality and it doesn't have a lot of unnecessary channels that only annoy the user.

I don't have experience with this particular product, but its not my first rodeo


Day 1: closing the deal

- I closed the deal with an IPTV owner to pay him a fixed amount of $130 every month, with rights for me to create unlimited customer accounts, add tv shows or movies into the system, and add live channels if customers request so. I can also create reseller panels to sell credits in bulk for other people to work.

This deal is of course only favorable for me in the long term, when I start selling so many accounts that those $130 divides into a great price per acc. Right now is a bad deal, because I could have just started with a lot less buying only the needed credits.

Anyway I wanted to do it this way. If I get to a point where I have 300-500 clients, this deal will be great for me. And if I don't, then I'm a bitch and nothing matters



- After closing the deal and checking the web panel to get familiar with how to create customer accounts and reseller panels, I did some Facebook DM spam. I am targeting people from my country.

The reason I didn't went straight into AD buying, is because
1) I want to try this method of free advertising, I dont really have a lot of money for this.
and 2) I had a scheduled meeting with a graphic designer that the iptv owner recommended me. I can do the graphics myself, but this guy supposedly was already getting good results and bla bla.

This meeting was at the end of the day (not really but I work night shifts so my end of day is really the morning) and I just had it. He did not show much enthusiasm and I think I will just do the ads myself. Besides I asked him for examples and he only had 1.


I already have 3 FB accounts that I used tonight for sending DMS. I took notes of what I did so I am putting it here:
(the noted time is when I finished the action for ex I finished sending 26 msgs in acc Fb1 at 3:15am)

Here I got blocked from sending messages. I guess 43 messages non stop was too much.

Here I tried posting a TV photo in marketplace and selling the service in description, but it kept getting blocked and it was too many words to be trying to find out the banned one so I gave up. This account actually had many items sold before as I really used it. The post actually got insta-approved but then deleted for banned words.

I'm managing this accounts in the Hidemyacc free-trial, using the IP rotation of my mobile hotspot to not mix the accounts in the same IP.

For my last account, I went full blast and sent 40 messages. I actually started the second round at like 8:37. Im just leaving some more seconds between message and message. Account sent the last message with no problem and I decided to leave it there and continue tomorrow.

If you are wondering who am I sending the messages to? This is all people that commented on FB advertisements of similar services and related, that showed in my feed and I am taking the time to contact manually.

I am using a quick casual message, with the most important points, not very long or full of things. Also this accounts look like real person, not Page.

Here I did some YouTube comments in related videos, but I realized they got deleted almost instantly so I abandoned this.


- So this was almost all my work for the day. I sent 130 messages I think.

I already got some responses, actually. Like 4 o 5. This is great and shocking, taking into consideration that the day is only starting and most people probably have yet to see the message.

This also means tomorrow there will be more spamming. Because if it works even a little bit, I will exploit it, since in this Phase 1 my focus is to reach $130 profits to break even, hopefully before next month comes and I have to pay again.

From this 4 or 5 responses, 2 of them asked me for Netflix accounts. Losing those sells would be stupid because I know this market and it will happen a lot. So I will just resell when they ask me for other services.

Another 2 asked me for video of the app working and seemed interested, but couldn't try it until later. Let's see.

The most complicated part of this business (which I have no experience with) is the installation of the app to watch the live TV. The easiest situation, is that client's TV has access to Playstore, then is just download an app. But if it doesn't it gets more complicated. Sometimes you have to change settings to allow external apps etc, this can be difficult for clients.

As the problems presents, I am going to be building PDFs with image-guides on how to install.



- Another thing I did today was posting in an online group I have in common with the IPTV owner. Here I'm trying to get resellers to sell my service.
Of course I will give them a better price, but they create passive growth.


For direct customers I will be charging $7 a month. For resellers around $3 and 2$ depending amount.

Right now I'm only targeting local buyers as direct customers, to simplify the payment method part. Resellers can pay online.

Sadly, I have to sleep.

This is actually all in the thread already. I am sending direct messages in Facebook, to people who commented on related posts about streaming/cable/iptv.

I'm sending a casual message, to look like a real person. If people answer interested, I offer them a free trial of our service. I am taking payment through money transfer since people are from my country.

The message I'm sending looks like this:

"Hey! I am offering my online TV service, it has all cable channels, global sports and national television, plus movies and series blabla

It works in all devices and costs $7, if you are interested let me know, you can try it for free"


So can you tell me about my bad concept or are you waiting for gonzo message?

Try popads, they wont block you and you will get a lot of traffic for very little money. Now for conversations you know how it goes, landing page, quality of your services etc.

To make an update:

From the 130 messages I sent, I got 8-10 responses. Not great but not too bad either.

From this responses, 1 person already has the free trial working in his TV. And I have 2 other who will try tomorrow.

2 other bought 2 Netflix accounts from me. I'm still waiting payment so I won't update the profits. But not so bad for the first day. Hopefully tomorrow I will see the first profit.


Today's plan is to spam some more, my intention with spamming is also to get a better understanding of how FB automation works. Because in the near future I could use an automation software to advertise my service for me. (If its more efficient than paying for ads)

After all, I am having some movement thanks to the free messages I sent.

My second activity today will be to work on the first graphic for ADs buying, I need to start pumping this thing quickly. So I will be designing something today or leaving something for a designer to have ready for tomorrow.

I want to start buying ADS tomorrow or the next day top.


In a different topic: Today I had my first person to fully install the app and connect the trial. This was great in order to get a handle of how the process of getting people ready is. I will be using this interaction to build message templates so to start replying the same to all clients and not waste time explaining everything each time.

Day 2: Graphics and ADS buying

hi BHW. Updating my IPTV selling Journey

Today, someone got my app fully installed in their TV. I have someone else who wants to try later. This was great, even tho I still got no payment.

I did some spamming, here are the logs:
Facebook 2

So FB acc 1 is still blocked. I managed to send 86 Fb messages today before all my acounts got blocked.

As much as I enjoyed spamming in FB, this is not so bad. I got some insights into spam statistics and its possible results.

Im moving into ADS buying now.

Today I made 5 flyers in Canva, for advertising. I already posted 3 of them in one of my FB accounts which already had ads spending history.

2 of them are already approved and "active" but this was minutes ago. I dont trust in FB early approvals because I have some experience in the streaming sector where they approved my ads to then suspend them 24 hours later. So lets see what happens.



I think thats all for today, graphic design was time consuming but I saved some good bucks doing the flyers myself.

I will update again tomorrow, wish me luck with the ads.

I'm such a noob since it comes to IPTV but how does one install it, if they don't have an Android TV, since you said it works on every platform. Does it also work on laptops?
Talking from my experience in my LG TV app store I think I've saw an IPTV app before, but that's it. How do you upload your app into such platforms?
And at the end is all of this legal? I think I've read somewhere in this forum that someone got in trouble selling such services, correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi bro ! Thanks for your comment. Yes it works on laptops, there is a certain app for Windows.

As for LG Tvs, and sometimes Samsung. Some times its doable some times not. If the TV doesnt have Android at all, then its most probably not possible. I guess you caught me there, Im false advertising haha. In this cases I recommend the client to buy any kind of tv box, or chromecast, stick, etc, or lose the sell and move on.

I dont have rights to broadcast and make money reselling those brands, so you do your own math.

Hey! I am just starting out, to clarify. And no, I dont take cc payments (yet). Right now, I am only selling in local market (my country), so I'm just taking local payments, which people trust a lot.
