The title. I noticed that some users don't show up in search at all and I'm not sure why this is.

Either labeled, or have been search banned. Quite a few ways you can get struck from the search list and quite a handful of reasons too.

That's Search suggestion ban.
You can check that using this site
https://shadowban.yuzurisa.com/ (not mine)

Generally all NSFW accounts are banned from search suggestions.
Thank you. These are indeed all NSFW accounts.

Out of curiosity, is it possible to recover a search banned account and convert it to a SFW account instead?

it could be because of their privacy settings, low activity, or they’ve made their profiles less visible. The platform might also not prioritize them if they don’t post much.

I checked my privacy settings and that seems fine. What constitutes low activity or not posting much? I intend to eventually get to about 1-3 posts a day. Would this be sufficient?

So later can't recover at all? And how about upgrade to premium then?
No you can't unfortunately. All NSFW accounts are search banned just to make twitter safe for everyone. But I don't think it has large impact on reach. Those who watch NSFW will watch your content anyway.. Adult RT groups are great way to skyrocket your reach. So better do that .

why does my account get this? "does not exist or doesn't have any tweets. Try again after sending a tweet."

It came up in search results on my other twitter account so whats going on? Sorry to barge in

I’m not really sure myself but I think it should be sufficient.

It could be beause of the following reasons
Their profiles are set to private.

  1. Their content isn’t indexed.
  2. Their accounts are restricted.
  3. They’ve limited content visibility.
Check their settings or reach out to the platform for more info.
