No, I don't have any spam links; I just have ONE backlink.

But how can I go from 23k impressions to 50 impressions in just one day?
That's insane! I have checked my meta tags to see if I changed something, but I can't find any issues.

Right now is 594k pages indexed.

Is it affected by the Google core update?

SEO requires maturity to be successful. Social media doesn't.

173k indexed pages to get 1k clicks is a terrible ratio.

Think of 1000 clicks from 10 indexed pages.

its a movie acting website, Using api to fetch all the actors. thats why 500k+ actors is indexed.

even if you paid the top notch writers to write all of these pages, publishing them on bulk would most likely trigger Google spam algos

i believe we were referring to authority,
you'll be easily exposed to more people if you have a channel/page/subreddit with a ton of followers/likes/comments, etc...

It's just weird; they ranked it well from the beginning and then killed it. Maybe Google does that, but I haven't seen it before.

I saw someone with same issues as me yesterday.

It didn't kill anything. It just cannot afford to promote sites like that. It was of value too low and their AI agents said it doesn't deserve attention due to how it's built and planned. They respect people who respect their SERPs.

i know what an API is and that's just another reason why the website got penalized,
you're simply spamming a ton of pages in a brand new website with copied content, too many red flags

I would for example make a website with chosen, highly rated scenes and only from those studios that have something that 99.9% studios don't have.

Nobody will let you repost content and thrive. Learn how to make unique one from your own perspective.

You had 2 samples and draw conclusions from that.

However, both samples were made in different times when algorithms worked differently.

Today they won't allow pure reposting. I heard it changed 3 years ago or so.

They have too much content and they index only that content which deserves positions.

Create another sample with slowly added content and more value.

you don't get penalized for using api, neither get penalized for using copied content or using a new website,
you do get penalized when you spam a brand new website with a ton of copied (non-original) content especially with today's SEO,

your other websites are passing the spam algos because they got some authority & trust from google,
if wikipedia decided to add 1 million pages scraped from different other websites, they would rank, they have the authority & elegibility to do so,
if a new website with 0 links is posting 5 posts with copied content a day it could easily get penalized, that's how spam algo works,

if you want to make things works, you have to either take the time to warm up a website/domain, invest in some auction domain,
or simply buy an old website that already got that, other than that your chances are just minimal, good luck with making this work for 1 of 1000 websites
