Since I was a kid, it was somehow a dream country for me.

Now in my own country, minimum wage per month is literally just $500 !!!

Politics, society, people... Everything is corrupted now.

If you consider these conditions, and if I win a greencard, what do you think about living in America?

My friend, We don't talk politics here.....

But we can talk about emigrating to an alien planet.

America is a great country, but you need to ask a lot of questions about yourself first.

Why do you want to move there?
Where are you based now?

IMO, America doesn't look great in the current climate, at least until after the election.
Don't think it will be an easy transition unless you have funds/skills.

There is still poverty and corruption in the US, things aren't always greener.

It really depends.

It's not the safest country around and it's gotten more dangerous in the last 10 years.

If you have money and can choose to live in a good area and you want to benefit from being closer to the money you'll be able to meet more entrepreneurs. It's also easier to do actual sales there and meet businesses.

Europe is more old money and what I call "quiet money". Rich who have left their home country and just living a peaceful life.

But if you need to win a green card, the US isn't the place you want to go. If you're making at least $2m-$3m/year, it's a great place.

If you're not making that, there are better places you can move to.

South and Central America..

Dubai if you're making $20k/mo+ is great. Very safe and you'll meet a lot of high energy people.

The US is still the greatest country on earth and it fuels the digital economy, but you need to be able to afford everything. Making $10k/mo won't cut it. :-)

If you want to get a high salary job - Europe will smash everything.
If you want to do business, USA is great direction but there are better places for business now.

If you can have a lumpsum money, US government, sell greencard and you can move immediely.

Ma'am,

This is not the right platform, and this is not for political talks.

Though if you want to move anywhere, I think you can go to India, India is rising, my thought, nothing, person.

Hi @DozeX ,

I didn't know it was not allowed to post links here. Thanks for warning me. :)

I will not do it again.

I also can not purchase domain because this is my first project and don't have money yet.

So I can not purchase a hosting or a marketplace membership or thread.

Thanks again. :)

@BassTrackerBoats please you can delete my links.

I don't think it makes much sense to point out the minimum wage in your country and all that. Life sucks in the US too if you're poor just like anywhere else, and there's no universal healthcare that you can rely on. Perhaps its less corrupt but there are a plethora of other problems you will encounter like crackheads, looters, mentally unstable people armed with guns, and a much higher cost of living than your country.
