Hi everyone, I’ve been buying Reddit accounts for about 3 years now. Until February-March 2024, every account was solid, but then Reddit declared war on bots, and that’s when the problems began.
What I’m about to share is based on my experience, and with the help of an online guide, I’ve been getting great results. I decided to write this post because I’ve seen a lot of conflicting opinions, many of which don’t align with my own experience.

Personally, I consider the best accounts to be those aged 1 to 3 months. Older accounts are much harder to manage. Ideally, they should have at least 100 karma, preferably comment karma rather than post karma.

IP geolocation has nothing to do with it! Think about it: I buy an account with a U.S. IP, but where in the U.S.? Or what if I go on vacation—does that mean I can’t use my Reddit account? Trust me, the tricks lie elsewhere.

Important Things to Do—or Rather, What I Do
The accounts I purchase have visible comment karma and history. I usually check the account and wait 2 or 3 days before logging in. When I finally log in, I spend a couple of days browsing Reddit, pretending to read and avoiding any interactions.
I use the accounts to post links in comments, and I try to be as natural as possible. I usually wait about 3 days before posting my first comment without any links, then I edit it later. I make sure not to post more than two comments per week

My advice is to use rotating residential proxies and avoid spamming. I’m confident that this approach will work well for you too

I hope this post has been helpful.

I have been working from a long time on Reddit, Reddit has been this way from the beginning. The only thing that changed now is they made their anti spam system more solid, and subreddit mods are now more aware of that spammy things.

If you buy an account that's been grown using organic posts and comments, without upvote manipulation, nothing could go wrong.

How you came to this conclusion?

I have taken 5 new accounts aged almost one month and tried to farm karma on them , only one of the account survived at the end of day.

On the other hand i took 5 4yr old accounts and tried karma farming, they all survived in the end.

The thing is ,if you're managing one Reddit account, the statement is true. But if you're into something serious this is not the case.

If you want that your old accounts gets survived for long-term, don't use rotating proxies. The account would get flagged in no time and you would start getting password resetting etc in no time.

Rotating proxies are good for creating accounts, as they make the whole process alot easier. I'm making 5k new accounts every month with rotating proxies, consider managing them on same proxies, all would get banned.

Empty accounts? It’s possible, but what you're saying doesn't make much sense. If you think about it, it’s more logical to post from a young, empty account than from one that was created 4 years ago and has never been used

Here, I also disagree with you. For example, at first, I used my phone and every time I switched accounts, I would turn it off and on again to change the IP—so that’s not considered rotation? Later on, I started using rotating proxies with intervals of 15 minutes. I finish with one account and move on to the next. While I don’t change the IP for the same account every 10 minutes, I do let several hours pass before switching.

This. I can post what I want, where I want, from my Romanian accounts.
My point is quite different. I looked at the map: if you buy an account with a Romanian IP (assuming it really is), and that account was created in Arad, but you post from Tulcea, which is a 10-hour journey, right? Wouldn't it be the same if you used an Italian IP? I don’t focus on where the accounts were created; instead, I make sure to use the same IP location consistently afterward. That’s what I meant by saying geolocation isn’t crucial

Does it help to post comment without link and then edit it?
I learned this here, but remember, it's not just about the trick itself. The real trick is in the preparation of the account.

you're saying doesn't make much sense
It doesn't making any sense because you have never experimented with it. You're just talking about from your experience in managing 3 accounts lol.
it’s more logical to post from a young, empty account
How's that logical? How many subreddits are there where you can post with just 1 day old account? Ever heard of Reddit filters? They won't even let your post through the subreddit.

When you have 100 accounts to manage for AM , you won't switch the ip once and wait for 2 hours to move onto next lol.

Your 'lol's are excessive.
In my opinion, you talk too much. I don’t manage three accounts, trust me, and I shared my experience because, as mentioned, I’ve been doing this for several years. Up until the beginning of this year, you could work without issues using datacenter proxies, but the system has changed. You say it’s always been this way, but that’s definitely not the case. Reddit has significantly increased its scrutiny

I've never talked about accounts that are just 1 day old; I was referring to accounts that are 1 to 3 months old, which can post and comment in 90% of subreddits. I have no problem managing accounts that are 2 or 3 years old, but as I mentioned, IT'S EASIER TO MANAGE YOUNG ACCOUNTS.

Are you serious? Do you know how rotating proxies work? It seems like you’re talking too much. Why don’t you share a detailed post about your own experience instead of just criticizing?

LOL LOL LOL

Reddit has significantly increased its scrutiny
Didn't i mentioned that in the first message.
IT'S EASIER TO MANAGE YOUNG ACCOUNTS.
How did you come to this conclusion? Any case studies you did? You're just talking blah blah without even knowing that how all this process work.
Do you know how rotating proxies work?
Significantly i do. I run my own servers to manage my Reddit accounts.
It seems like you’re talking too much. Why don’t you share a detailed post about your own experience instead of just criticizing?
I don't need to share my experience. Go to my sales thread , and you would know. Its one of my main businesses from last 7 years lol.

Didn't i mentioned that in the first message.
This is your response: you said it has always been this way, but that’s not true.

After 3 years of working with Reddit (though it seems you haven’t read my post), do you really think I don’t know that managing a 1-year-old account is more difficult than managing one that's just 1 month old

Significantly i do. I run my own servers to manage my Reddit accounts.

I don't need to share my experience. Go to my sales thread , and you would know. Its one of my main businesses from last 7 years lol.
So, do rotating proxies not change the IP with each request or every time the connection is closed?

I don’t need to check out your sales post; I already understand that you talk a lot. You’re a seller promoting your own agenda, while I’m offering advice. You can choose to share it or not, but at least read what I’ve written before you respond. Let’s end it here

promoting your own agenda
The thing is , you're just bullshiting. All these things are Data driven and comes from experimenting , which you never did.
So, do rotating proxies not change the IP with each request or every time the connection is closed?
Now you're taking conversation from Reddit accounts to the very basic of proxies.
do you really think I don’t know that managing a 1-year-old account is more difficult than managing one that's just 1 month old
Yes i do.
while I’m offering advice
With all due respect, your advice is bullshit and only works when you have 2 Reddit accounts and your main purpose is to waste time and not making money.
You can choose to share it or not, but at least read what I’ve written before you respond.
I Don't talk much on forum but obviously when someone would share some thing that's not true , i would simply intervene.

And yeah i read and understood your messages.

It ends here(hope so)

Yes, your point is right. Talking about cities (around 1h flight between any major city), or even countries (Romania - Italy is around 3h flight) is ok, because we're traveling a lot in Europe. In Romania, there are cases when you are in Constanta, and the IP shows you are in Cluj. The worst is when you are using an account created 5h ago in Vancouver, Canada, while you're log in from Perth, Australia, and after another 5 hours you are log in from New York, USA (it simply doesn't make any sense and that account may be flagged). So, yes: The country where the account was created is not important, but the consistency of using the approx. location each time is.

Anyone reading this conversation can see that you're just talking to promote yourself. My post is aimed at people who keep getting banned (I'm not talking about making money). In just 10 replies, you've already contradicted yourself three times—talking about 1-day-old accounts and rotating proxies. Sorry, but you're not doing yourself any favors. Please stop replying to me; I’m not interested in what you have to say. I've figured out who you are. I kindly ask you to stop responding here and let more experienced people share their opinions. Again, my post is basic advice on how to avoid Reddit bans.

you're just talking to promote yourself
I'm not promoting myself, but when you ask someone what they got under their belt to speak so much , surely they would tell you.
aimed at people who keep getting banned
So here's your advice in conclusion
Buy 1-3 months old accounts .
Use rotating proxies .
Don't spam.

They would get banned anyway after following this.
Sorry, but you're not doing yourself any favors
I'm doing you a favour.
my post is basic advice on how to avoid Reddit bans.
Told you, your basic advice is bullshit.
more experienced people share their opinions.
They won't share anything, when they see that you're just crying like a baby over little things.

I repeat, this works for me, but you refuse to share what works for you. END OF DISCUSSION

interesting, so you would say switching them to a more static ip after creation helps? don't many people have a new ip every day from restarting their router or something?

There’s a lot of conflicting advice about which proxies to use. My accounts never lasted when I used static residential proxies—maybe the ones I got were spammy, or maybe it’s how my bots interact with Reddit.

With rotating proxies, my accounts kept getting banned whenever the IP changed. Now, I make sure my bots only post or comment when the IP is from the same city. Doing this has made my accounts last a lot longer.

I spend a couple of days browsing Reddit, pretending to read
Do you have any idea how to replicate this functionality with a bot? My bot uses a private API to make comments and posts.

How does Reddit know when someone is browsing? Does it involve tracking function calls to fetch posts? If so, would simply calling the function to fetch posts data for random subreddits using an API be considered equivalent to browsing?

Personally, as I mentioned, I buy accounts every week. I found a site that provides accounts with comment karma and an intact history. I post comments once or twice a week per account, basically pretending I'm just passing through. Because of this, my bans have decreased by 80%. I believe the key is to comment sparingly and have a lot of accounts.

I can't help much with this specific issue. However, instead of editing the link, you might consider commenting on the post once a week, rotating the links each time.

interesting, so you would say switching them to a more static ip after creation helps? don't many people have a new ip every day from restarting their router or something?
Let me explain: you didn't realize that his only interest was self-promotion. One IP per account with a dedicated static IP costs $3 a month, but that doesn’t mean it hasn't been flagged by Reddit (you’ll face the same issue even with rotating proxies). I tried using static IPs, but I ended up spending over $300, and as I mentioned, the accounts still got banned. It all depends on how many Reddit accounts you need to manage.
Secondly, ask yourself this: a regular Reddit user accesses their account at work, at home, and while on the go. How many IPs do they switch in a month? If you use a static IP, it means you're only using it from home, which isn’t necessarily bad, but in my opinion, it doesn’t seem natural.
