I know a very experienced 3D designer and he said we could do business together, he can basically do anything but I want to offer my own niche service which is Anime figures, so I'll basically take custom orders but I don't know where to start, if I should pay for advertisement, where I can find clients and all.

EDIT: The designer is already employed and has poor English skills so he's okay with me finding clients for him and taking commissions. I'm thinking of keeping %10-20 or something to me, not too big.

I heard there's really good money in this. My wife actually does a lot of work in Blender, and we're looking to start generating some revenue doing this kind of thing.

Finding clients is one of the more difficult parts, but showing off the work on Reddit might actually be a good way to start advertising. Don't hard sell to them because they catch on to that quickly, just find some anime communities and show off the printable figures. You can upload the designs to printable marketplaces such as Cults3D and I think even Etsy will allow you to sell them.

I haven't put any of this into practice, but I hope this gives you some ideas.

Etsy is a good idea, I actually want to use a premium service to promote my store there.
