Anyone used uSocial's Facebook Fan service with any success? They want $200 for 1,000 geo targeted (country) fans.

That's the most popular site of this type.I am sure it's a good service, but their prices are too high for fb stuff.

I've heard it's pretty damn easy to get 1,000 fans on a page so paying $200 sounds pretty gay

You can hire a freelancer at getafreelancer.com and I think the going rate is about $30

I believe the price is high because the fans are targetted not just random mafia wars fans.

Um, assuming your page is in an identifiable niche, wouldn't anyone who actually chooses to become a fan almost by definition be targeted? So the "targeted" claim is pure BS. Having said that, I've bought fans for like half of Usocial's price and that was outrageous. I'd just as soon pay for status updates and take whatever fans come out of it.

Well, they do say you will probably get more than you paid for, but I see what you're getting at. Even if you do get more than what you ordered, it is still way too overpriced and there is no way of telling if these invites will be resent to other people's pages.
