Hosthater and Supergreen, cause I just felt like seeing if it was any good. Hosthater is best for customer service. No problems with SG, but nothing new and different either.

I would suggest just buying the service, but it's good for beta sites you don't want to put much investment into.

Discover something new everyday(Freehostia.com), they look good, I use hostgator as it can host regular and adult sites.

Well 1and1 I have had lots of many problems in the start with just a simple host plan so I never went with them ever again..

For now these are my hosts:

for xrumer/scrapebox- www.xrumer-servers.com
No complaints, bulletproof, fast, best prices out there

for shared- www.my365host.com
good prices, good uptime, not overloaded servers

for vps- www.photonservers.com
using xen vps. Fast, no downtime at all so far in 5 months.


for dedicated- www.SoftLayer.com
by far best dedicated. been with them for so long that my servers aren't even expensive anymore

This is a good thread you started ssellers, because I often wonder what are good hosting options. I've read a lot of answers that were given to you and I got some good insight.

I like GoDaddy myself, I mostly build websites using the Wordpress platform and with GD I can easily install it through the hosting dashboard.

In fact, through GD you can easily install a lot of different apps through the dashboard. The list is amazing, blogs, forums, drupal... all are setup by GD for you. You don't have to screw around with the config.php for the apps at all.

I'm not too thrilled with their customer service, but you can count on your website always being up.

i would greatly suggest leaseweb..

the bandwith is real cheap and the hardware upgrades are real cheap too..

i would NEVER go with hostgator or godaddy if you want to run a serious website..

Dedicated servers from Turnkey (http://www.turnkeyinternet.net/) are great and their prices are amazing. SoftLayer is great as well of course, but their prices are much higher.

i suggest this too.. get a dedicated server.
