Do the scammer's messages get deleted after they're banned? I guess no. the way he spammed his Telegram username, there will still be naive people who fall for his scams again.

I have to ask everyone to refrain from expressing doubts publicly.

By doing so, we inadvertently alert potential fraudsters that we are aware of their activities.

Or maybe we are wrong and accusing innocent people, let's stop doing that, ok?

Instead, kindly report the concern and provide a brief explanation and reasons regarding the specific members.

The staff is doing everything possible to prevent issues, however, we cannot oversee what happens between buyers and sellers in their private chats.

I strongly advise, not to send money, especially in cryptocurrencies.

Avoid Telegram, and instead use the BHW inbox for communication, any legit sellers have nothing to hide and will not be against BHW communication.

Stay safe, please.

for this easy money more people fall in same work

soon you will see 10-15 premium members bulk post on wtb and hire a freelancer section for scam

and all new person fall on that trap

this is BHW responsibility to protect their user.

Why not BHW just ban telegram?

that is not solution

any new person can buy premium membership that is main issue

A person goes into the internet, buys shady products from unknown seller which he met 20 minutes ago (without doing proper due diligence), move to do business via Telegram (One of the most notorious social apps out there which the owner is currently arrested for various crimes), pays with crypto which is non-refundable and BHW is to be blamed. okay.

Sorry for your loss guys, take this as a payment for a course how not to conduct business online.

I am a million percent it not for scams on BHW.
When Skype was massive the same thing happened. It’s not about the way people communicate it’s about whom they do it with.
In this thread there was someone asking should they deal with this person (it’s a shitlist). No one should be scammed but I have no sympathy if they did.
If this site keep offering marketplace sellers to people who just joined they are part of the problem not the solution.

There are scammers on Google, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist and Yellow Pages. So you are saying they are part of the problem as well.

There are scammers on the street. That’s not what I was saying. I am posting on this site about this site. If I had a problem with Facebook or Google then I would post there.
I am saying that if you offer a market place then you should try and reduce the chance of getting scammed.
People join and can sell straight away. People can have 10 year old accounts and just start posting to reach 100 then buy JR VIP.
These are the things I think need addressing.

In the renowned Latin forums, you cannot do business if you have not been there for more than 6 months and to offer business you must be verified with address, telephones, emails, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. Could this forum implement a similar mechanism?

The problem is, Sellers are forced to include off-site contacts when opening sales threads. I think it would be ideal if all deals had to be conducted on-site, as there is no benefit going off-site other then the convenience of the notification when a message is received. That small convenience isn't worth people getting scammed over.
