I'm considering using telegra.ph to publish some articles and was wondering if anyone knows whether the platform passes link juice from backlinks. Has anyone tested if links from telegra.ph contribute to SEO, and do they help boost domain authority? Any insights or experiences would be appreciated!

I've gotten 2 links from telegra.ph some 2-3 years ago and they were good, in the sense that they got indexed, were DF, and passed link juice. They actually helped me boost the rankings of one of my long tail keywords (crafts & hobbies niche), so yeah...

But that was 3-ish years ago, I'm not sure that they hold the same power, google must have devalued them since they're so easy and free to get and google hates all backlinks that are free to get because too many people get them and this creates competition for the big dogs that want to dominate the SERPs...

Anyway, a link is a link, so get it! It can't hurt :)

You will not get direct links from it. But it's not completely useless for SEO. If you use it correctly, it can still drive some traffic. In the past, I've used it to build 2nd tier links that fed my 1st tier links - it won't move the needle on its own, but when combined with other strategies, it adds some value.

Telegra.ph links are nofollow, so they don't directly pass link juice or boost domain authority. However, they can help with content indexing and driving referral traffic. Use them as part of a diversified SEO strategy.
