I heard they take a few hours to fully activate your account. Is your account activated yet.

I got conforming mail within 5 mins regarding my domain registration.
Their interface is quiet similar to godaddy

There are NO charges for it if you only get the domain (and not the hosting).

They didn't ask for ID but they did take the credit card number.
No worries about that, I am going to transfer registrars in 11 months to my main one and be done with 1and1. (don't like them much).

Wonder how many of these I can get away with getting for free. I have a lot of credit cards and email accounts. muahahahah
