Why it is better to use URL with WWW?
for ex:
https://www.domain.com

is better than: https://domain.com?

I prefer the non www version since it makes the url shorter by 3 (or 4, if you count the dot) chars. I don’t think it matters much, though. Just make sure

1) Only one version is accessible. Redirect to the other one if both are accessible.

2) In case you cannot redirect, have a canonical url with the preferred version. That should (in theory… I prefer redirecting) achieve the same.

Hey Vldsam95, using `www.` or not is mostly a matter of preference and doesn't really affect SEO. Google treats both versions as the same website. You can choose whichever looks better for your brand.

There's no real difference, but you want to stick with one variation only. I personally prefer a non-www version of the domain. Sticking to one variation and getting redirects set up from the other(s) means that no matter how people link to you, they'll get to the right place, as will the majority of whatever link juice flows through those links.

Both have some benefits and limitations. www is better for large website, restricted cookies policy, better for sub domain etc on the other hand non www is better for small website specifically branding websites, cookies policy is open etc.

That is basically subliminally saying subdomains are more superior than non-www urls because www is technically an subdomain.

I prefer non-www URL, for more or less the same reason as everyone else, it is less to type and easier to remember & looks cleaner

There is actually no big difference from Google's perspective, both will work. Especially if you are asking in terms of SEO. But another perspective is that since we always remember "www" in TV commercials, there may be a slight attraction. Remember the commercials.

• Personally, I would prefer "www" for more corporate companies, the reason for this is because of the digital marketing ads, marketing and TV commercials made on "www"
• On blog sites, philosophy, etc., non-www versions can be preferred.

In general, both will work. I changed my blog page to the non-"www" version. If I have a corporate site (import, industry, etc.), I would probably save it as www.
