How to do Content Audit for a site

I have a 2 years old site with 300+ article, about 100 that dont have any traffic. I am thinking about delete them all and write new and high quality articles if the keyword is rankable

It's a big decision and it might seem tempting to start fresh with high-quality content, but try considering if those articles can be salvaged or repurposed.

You can't really expect to have traffic from all of your pages, but if I were you, I'd start by optimizing for topics for which I'm on the 2nd page rather than those I'm on the 10th

Deleting underperforming articles can be a good strategy, especially if they’re not providing any value.
Find high-ranking and relevant keywords for new articles and Focus on creating high-quality, in-depth, and engaging content that provides real value to readers.This approach will may help you maintain a clean and effective site while focusing on creating content that drives traffic and engagement.

Yeah you can do that. But how about the quality of those articles? It is not relevant to your niche?

It would even be better if you edit and optimize the pages if they got any good, unique (per website) targetted keywords,

Change the content and make sure it matches the user search intent,
probably too long/short or simply not the type of pages similar to what's in the SERPS,

Optimize the pages off-page,
more internal links if it's possible since orphan pages would receive the least of authority/juice, add backlinks if needed,

Everything else is up to the pages current rankings & UX signals,
Editing should be the first choice, but replacing/deleting could be better if the pages could be hurting the website overall (could happen page-wise)
