Hi SEOs,

I am sharing here an issue here. My blog page has two versions (Non amp for desktop and Amp version for mobile). The issue I am facing that Amp version url is indexed and ranking in google SERP, but non-amp version is not indexed yet..
Wheneever I check non-amp url in console by inspecting, it shows not available on google.

also, I analysed on Pagespeedinsight to check any other issue. unfortunately, there is no any data.

Have you ever experienced this issue ? What is it called?

I don't see any issue. Google has different indexes and algorithms for desktop and mobile devices and they prioritize the latter, for me it's no surprise that you're ranking on mobiles while not (yet) on desktops.

To up your desktop ranking game you need to do the SEO thingy (content, links, topical authority, etc.) Although, since it's the same site I assume that most of these elements are already in place, so it probably comes down to getting more links.... probably...

I think its canonicalization issue. Google may prioritize indexing the AMP version if it deems it as the primary version. Ensure that your non-AMP page is correctly set as the canonical URL in your HTML header.

Canonical url is correctly set . amp version page has a canonical url of original page

Then check if there are any crawl errors in GSC or consider building more internal and external links to the non-AMP page to encourage indexing.

The non-AMP version may not be indexed due to a technical issue or a problem with how it's being crawled by Google. Ensure that the non-AMP pages are not blocked by robots.txt or meta tags also make sure that the structured data for AMP and non-AMP pages is correctly implemented. It sounds like you're dealing with a canonicalization. This isn’t too uncommon.

First, double-check that both versions of each page link to each other correctly with the appropriate canonical and alternate tags. This tells Google that both versions are the same content but optimized for different platforms. Also, make sure that both versions are accessible to Google’s crawlers and not blocked by any robots.txt rules or noindex tags.

If everything seems set up right, you might want to manually request indexing of the non-AMP version through Google Search Console to nudge Google to recognize and index it. Hope this helps!

Thankyou for your words.. but I have tried request indexing of the non-AMP version through GSC many times.
