Hi guys I have started a new website and targeting Phillipane county my domain is
mainkeyword.org.ph so I have few questions
1 language for more targeting or country specific signal should I change my website language but non of my competitor is using the country language in my same niche they are using English
2 How can i perform Off Page SEO for this site
3 my competitor have the different domain like it have .com.ng but most of his traffic is from Phillipane but also he is covering US Nigeria and other country but I only want to cover Phillipane so what to do if my competitor is getting 100k traffic so if i cover only Phillipane i will get for example only 20/30k

What you guys suggest me to rank more in my niche should I cover all the topic just like my competitor

also a general question is Can i share my niche to understand better

Continue using English, as it's widely spoken, but consider adding some content in Filipino to enhance local relevance. Focus on off-page SEO strategies like building backlinks from reputable Filipino sites, engaging on social media, and creating partnerships with local businesses. Differentiate from competitors by specializing in content that addresses local interests and optimizing for local search queries.

Hi guys I have started a new website and targeting Phillipane county my domain is
mainkeyword.org.ph so I have few questions

let me share how you can approach the questions you've raised:

1 language for more targeting or country specific signal should I change my website language but non of my competitor is using the country language in my same niche they are using English
- Since none of your competitors are using the local language, it may not be necessary if your target audience is more comfortable with English, which is widely spoken in the Philippines so using the local language (Filipino) could increase the relevance and country-specific signals to search engines like Google so you can offer content in both English and Filipino, This will target broader audience and will also signal to search engines that your content is highly relevant to the Philippines.
2 How can i perform Off Page SEO for this site
- You can focus on getting backlinks from local websites, blogs, news outlets, and directories within the Philippines. These will send strong local signals to search engines.
- If your competitor is covering multiple countries, but you only want to focus on the Philippines, you should only approach local and specialize within your niche locally. The traffic stats you have shared of your competitor show that he is getting 100k traffic globally, and you focus only on the Philippines. Yes, your traffic might be lower, and it is not a bad thing if the traffic you get converts well. Your aim should be to become the go-to resource for your niche within the country.

It's not necessary to cover every topic your competitor does. Instead, focus on the most relevant and high-traffic topics for the Philippines.

If you’re comfortable sharing your niche then do it.

For off-page SEO create high-quality backlinks from reputable websites, especially those within the Philippines or relevant to your niche.

For off-page SEO create high-quality backlinks from reputable websites, especially those within the Philippines or relevant to your niche.
How can I find these types of sites?? using reverse engineering with ahref? or does the relevancy matter?

Yes, you can use Ahrefs to identify your competitors' backlinks. In the "Backlinks" section, you can see which sites are linking to them and prioritize backlinks from high-authority domains, those relevant to your niche or located in the Philippines.

Also, you can find other link opportunities by the “Best by links” report in Ahrefs to find pages on competitors’ sites that have the most backlinks. You can create similar content and reach out to the same sites for backlinks

Absolutely, relevancy matters because a backlink from a relevant site in your niche is often more valuable than one from an unrelated high-authority site. Therefore, you should focus on getting links from sites relevant to your niche. This could include industry blogs, forums, and news sites.
Thank you buddy it means a lot I have some other issues in indexing due to bulk requests now am so confused about what to do can you please check out my recent thread or should I give you the link in your pm ??

First to you need to fully analyze your competitor site and take note of the important things he has done for his website. Try to incorporate it in your site. Try Local SEO to drive local traffic to your site.
