I upload shorts on YouTube and wanna upload them on Facebook as well. I heard that Facebook pays like YouTube. How much do they pay? My videos are between 20-30 seconds.

Like how? I'm from a 3rd world country but my viewers are mostly from the US and the UK. Will I get paid based on the locations of my viewers or which country I'm uploading the video from?
Does the pay similar to YT shorts?

facebook short does pay but it won't be exactly like yt short, find out the requirements to achieve before starting to make money from fb
when posting videos change the IP to get the country location you want

If your video wants Facebook to pay for it, it must first have 30,000 views in 2 months and must be at least 3 minutes long. If you meet that criteria, they will pay you 55% of the total advertising revenue. But your video's duration is too short compared to Facebook's regulations. I think it can't bring you any revenue.

Facebook does have ways to pay creators, but it’s not quite like YouTube. For Reels, you can get bonuses based on views and engagement. Plus, there are opportunities for brand deals and fan support like stars. Earnings can vary depending on how popular your content is.

I wouldn't say it pays better, per se, but you can potentially get further reach there if you know your way around. Might want to check their monetization policy for updated info on it. For reels, specifically, I think Youtube is still pushing their Shorts so not sure if that's any better on Facebook.

Youtube has a system table listing the viewing fees for each country separately, you can google it to see how it is. In general, Youtube pays quite well for videos with high views, but for short videos, it is not known yet.
