If too many stickies are a problem, maybe they could remove the stickied volunteer mod and replace it with this thread.
After all, If someone actually wanted to mod for the forum there is a link to the staff application on the footer.
If they can't find that then they probs shouldn't be a mod anyway

I too was scammed via Telegram, and the person responsible has since been banned from here. Sometimes, in the rush to address urgent matters, people suggest using Telegram or another instant messaging platform for faster communication. Unfortunately, this can lead to situations where you end up being scammed.

People trust random people with premium account or jr vip but make sure to get half of the the stuff you are buying to avoid being scammed

I really don't understand why to go and chat on Telegram when you can record a conversation here for your own protection.

You 100 percent completely protect yourself from being scammed if you use the PM feature. I feel like a broken record, but people have to realize on TG, there is not only the fact you can delete your conversations, but people will have members' names on it and then just create another account and do the same. Please, consider not using TG.

Great post from the Op and the warnings from the Mods. However I want to say lets not criminalize the use of Telegram, as its beginning to sound like that. If it is now an official requirement that posting or responding to WTBs and HAFs with telegram on BHW is banned, thats a different matter and everyone should be clearly notified - but lets not go that route. I understand many scams happen through TG, but as someone said earlier in the thread, - you can't teach common sense. Telegram is supremely useful for a lot of us who use it sensibly to interact with our clients. I used to use Skype until I found it severely limited for locating things in my history, then I switched to Telegram and have used it ever since. I have conversations going back for many years and they are still accessible. On BHW, after a while, you have to purge your pm box. that said, in all my years of dealing on BHW using Telegram, I have only been scammed once - and it was my fault. I simply did not apply common sense. And here is the common sense - you can chat all you want, provide support etc on telegram, but when firm terms have been reached, spell it all out in pm on BHW, so there is a record of the agreement and the transaction on BHW. No reason why we can not have the best of both worlds - the real-time conversations,logs, support and freewheeling on telegram, and the finality of conclusions on BHW.
