I have question to all facebook experts. When I update my state all my friends will see my update or facebook select only some random friends to see the update?
Thanks for the attention

I believe its all of them, but in time it depends on the quality of the posts. If they are poor quality with little interaction, from what ive been told, the percent of people that will see them drops.

Is called News Feed Algorithm and on the default view only posts by you crossing the cut will be displayed to a give friend ... same happens with posts by pages

thanks for the explanation. But facebook always select some friends to see the post right?

Yes, some of your friends should always see the post. I was under the impression that if it was posted to the News Feed, everyone had a chance to see it. However, now that I think about it, the quality of the post and the responses they generate make perfect sense. I guess that is the whole reason why certain posts will be shown in your News Feed when you login, and if you want to see the most recent, you must click "Most Recent."

I don't know where you guys came up with all this. I have tested this on multiple accounts. Everytime I post something on an account, within 30 minutes it shows up on the news feed of the other account that is friends with it. I have yet to see a post not go through.

Welp, we just pulled it out of our arse....why in the world would we make it up? Some posts just dont show on the feed. It happens, and from what has been seen, it has to do with past post quality.
