Pop up ads traffic to boost seo

Do some of you buy popup traffic to rank better? I know it works but it doesn't last long. Does it work with freshly created website too? What is your experience guys? Thanks

I am not sure if it would be boosting you ranking as popup ads traffic is not really something Google bots can crawl.

Popup ads traffic gives only temporary boost. For new websites , focus on organic growth like creating quality content, link building etc

but, in most cases the bounce rate gonna be high and that will get you down instead

I should have framed my OP better, in fact I was talking about sending traffic to tier 1, not directly to the money site. I saw people do the experiment and it boosted their traffic for a few days without hurting the money site. But their site was old and I was wondering if it could work with a fresh site. I guess there is only one way to find out.

I don't think you get his point. He said that he is sure that it works. And Google can actually measure traffic because 30% of internet traffic is through their browser. They release a monthly traffic report as well.
