Hi all,
I am about to write an article and post it on Wikipedia about my company. The idea is that I have no clue how Wikipedia works and what the posting rules are. I just created the account and am about to edit some articles to get the status 'confirmed user'.
My friend told me that to get more traffic and position, I should find a 'trustworthy publisher' who already has several articles on Wikipedia. Is that true?
If yes, where can I find this 'trustworthy publisher'? How can I measure his trust in Wikipedia?

It's an unknown territory for me. Please, shed some light on this topic.

Good luck, you can find sellers in the marketplace section of the forum if you need Wikipedia links, though I doubt any of them will be able to provide your company with a whole Wikipedia page tbh. Keep in mind even some larger companies lack Wikipedia pages and it's not easy to get.

Extremely difficult to get especially nowadays. Possible back in the mid 2000s but now wikipedia has so much moderation it's not worth it to try to get a company page on there.

Your friend is very right actually, I actually know a guy who do something like this

Aim for unbiased, verifiable content with third-party sources. Partner with experienced editors through freelancing sites, looking at their edit history.
