Hi there,

Just wanted to know if there is a way to try to 100% avoid spamdexing attack.

Recently, one of my site get another spam linking attack:
the site got spam backlinks from thousands domains, each domain has 25k-150k links to some of our pages,
Result: while doing google search, some of webpages got listed but with pornographic or rubbish text, though the landing URL and page has no problem on content, title etc. >>> Which means, only the text of listed result in SERP has problems.
Those referring domains are not accessible by browser and some crawlers, as a result, we don't know what the actual content of those domains are.

Question:
Is there a way to avoid this? Or this is not something can avoid 100%?
Is there a way to know some details about how this attacks are made?
Is there a way to track the source? who made this?

Maybe 1 or 2 questions are sensitive or secret in blackhat world, but if there is some information you can disclose, will be appreciated.

Thanks!
JD

If the domains on the serp are same as yours then it's not spam index attract, your site got hacked.
First clean your site and then try to deindex the urls through the search console. If your don't have any traffic you and submit the whole site to be deindexed and once its deindexed submit the site map for reindex.

If you got spam backlinks you can choose to ignore it if there is no effect on traffic or add a firewall and bot ban plugin to prevent it from further accessing your site. Modify your urls a little bit.

thanks for reply, so what is it called?
e.g.
authentic info: domain.com/page-a/, title: Title of Page A
in SERP: title: Garbage Text Here, URL: domain.com/page-a/
landing: domain.com/page-a/, title: Title of Page A
what is above called?

I did some searches, the spamdexing is something seemed very same: Korean / Japanese text on the host domains (the host domain is the authentic one, landing page is correct, but just the text displaying in SERP are korean / japanese charachers).
example here: how to do SERP hack | BlackHatWorld

or, ok let's discuss the point, is something above can be done by thousands of spam backlinks only? Or the spam backlinks cannot impact the word / text displayed in SERP of my domain?
If yes, then as you said, the only problem is the CMS got hacked.
