I was wondering if I could get couple recommendations on registrars.
Recently my domain was put on a "lock" without any notice or ability to provide any documentation - my current registrar just shut me down immediately after getting a requeset from phishlabs.com - they did say I can transfer out thus reaching out here.
100% legal business with nothing shady, usa based- just happens to be on blockchain (consulting and hardware resell) - I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hash out with phishlabs (providing docs whatever) but it will take who knows how long while my website is hard down - trying to minimize the downtime. Ps. Horrible how they can shut you down afternoon on Saturday so you cannot take actions till the next week.
I scavenged through the forum and I found 3 candidates but again I would really appreciate you 2 cents. (Once again business is mainly consulting and hardware resell (servers) for blockchain projects, all registered, no bs. - crypto "keyword" may come up on the page i guess)
Domain:
1. easyDNS - was reading it helps with any dmca and won't bend easily and take you down but its located in Canada - not sure how the regulations and ties to USA are on that platform.
2.njal.la - little bit scared that I'm giving away my custody of the domain but many praises it. Again not trying to get away with anything but at the same time I don't want some unlawful reports just taking me down.
3.flokinet - just read its highly recommended but haven't got much more into details.
Hosting - I probably want to move out of usa as well since we are still immature to anything blockchain/crypto. I lot of folks were praising theonionhost and their pricing for shared wordpress is not bad - but would love to hear your thoughts.
