My site was excluded from search results Google starting yesterday, so I searched the URL in Google Console and found that the URL was set to Canonical URL selected by Google. So I searched the site address on Google, and it parsed the title and description of a huge amount of Google keyword search results and redirected me to a gambling site when I clicked on it.

If I request my URL index again from Google Console, will it be restored to the search results again?

This mostly happens because of nulled plugins/themes.
You have to complete clean your server install fresh wp theme/plugin then upload your db.

You can ask your host too for sus codes/files in your server.

you website has been hacked and now it's penalized,
unfortunately, it will take a long time to recover, better start working on a new one

Did you use backlinks for your site?

Hello, I'm having trouble with the same problem. I believe the other person maliciously used this method to steal my Google search results. Is that resolved now? I also have a competitor's site in Google-selected canonical, not mine, in Google Search Console.

If your site was excluded from Google search results and is redirecting to a gambling site, it’s likely hacked. Simply requesting re-indexing in Google Search Console won’t restore it unless you fix the issue. First, confirm the hack by scanning your site for malware using tools like Sucuri SiteCheck or Google Safe Browsing. Clean your site by removing malicious code, changing all passwords, and updating software. Secure your site with a WAF, strong passwords, and regular backups. Once cleaned, use Google Search Console to check for manual actions, submit a reconsideration request if needed, and request re-indexing using the URL Inspection Tool. Monitor your site to ensure it stays clean and secure for long-term restoration in search results.
