I have tried almost all plugins. They either fail, or indicate timeout. Most focus on clearing posts, revisions, postmeta, ... are of no use to me. I need a way to clear my database from critical errors.

Mine is a small website, with mostly 40-50 pages, a dozen posts & videos. Problem is the database has swelled to around 3gb. I installed & uninstalled many plugins, maybe the waste has accumulated. Now all backup scripts fail and I am in a fix. Anyone know how I could remove the waste/transients? Any tip in this direction will be appreciated. Thanks

I recommended you to remove unnecessary installed themes and remove duplicate files available in your database.

I have only one theme, no duplicate files as the site is only a few weeks old. I need a method to clean the database of critical errors as all plugins fail

To clean your database, use the WP-Optimize plugin to optimize and repair your database tables, as it efficiently removes unnecessary data and fixes issues. And doing this files size of database get decreased.

Have you checked the database in the server?, I think there must be duplicate tables inside the database.
