How do I detect if a follower is a bot?

Hello guys!
I just got into Twitter X for quite a short time.
I made an account and follow some. I also commented on some viral posts.
Then each day I got about 2-3 followers came. They are not the person I followed before.
As I check their profile, they have a lot of followings but very few followers.
I thought they are bots, but how do I check it?

This is also a red flag.
Minimal or no tweets, or only retweets of popular accounts.

They're likely bots, especially if their tweet history looks odd or strangely lacking.

Usually you can make an educated guess based on their profile information and activity - random usernames, generic or no profile pictures, empty bio or promoting something, a high number of followings vs followers (often if you look into followers they're similar in appearance, i.e. also bots), generic or advertising tweets, no original content only retweeting. There are some tools out there you could try out but they're not 100% accurate.
