Are Links from same website equal to a fresh website? Someone has offered me a deal suggesting
going back and adding links in sites we have already used would be as good as a fresh site this article
was given as evidence.

Links from same site are not of much value unless it's from a prominent site like a new sites or some big research paper site.

Okay cheers..Also I was wondering what are the best options to increase Google ranking. I have a budget of around 1000 euro per month, are there any services you would recommend?

From the way you are asking questions I would suggest you limit the budget and first spend only when you fully understand what are you getting in return as many services might seem like a false promise to you.

First you need to check the keyword.

The you need to check and analyse the top 10 sites ranking on that keyword.

Now, after first two steps you need to create content similar to those top 10 pages. Add something unique of your own to be more relevant.

Lastly, you need to check the type of links that were built for that specific site and get them specially built.

Only pay for the backlinks built don't waste thousands of dollars in advance for guaranteed ranking as there is no such service in the world right now.

You can follow all the steps I told you and I am sure that will help you to rank faster.

As for your question you can check the forums marketplace for backlinks but first understand before buying anything that what are you buying.

Thanks m8 but what you telling me I learned 10 years, 15 years ago its the same old stuff. I am already ranking quite well and I have a budget to improve things further.

Links that come from the same website arent as strong as links from new websites. Even though having several links from one site can help your page authority they dont have the same impact as links from different sites.

The article from Ahrefs probably talks about how important internal linking is for SEO but that not the same as building links from outside sources. To really boost your search rankings it is best to get a variety of backlinks from different trusted websites. So, aim to get links from new and relevant sites for the best results.

Links from the same site probably carry a domain weight and a page weight. The domain weight counts only once, the page weight probably really small.

If you overdo it they'll group all links into one and count it just once

I recommend getting 2 links from powerful websites, both links from different pages. You get the most out of a website in the way, also point said links to different pages.

Since you are already ranking, you don't need 'a service' to your website, unless you only ranked by luck. use your budget to scale on what you already do that has been helping your site rank. Depending on your niche and type of website, you may cover more content and topics to expand your target keywords and possibly attract more traffic.

Don't dump your budget on 'a service' in hope of some magic happening. You should understand very well what you are doing and it'll guide you spend.

That's great. Just didn't wanted you to overspend on things that's why warned you. If you are already ranking and have an idea about the services then you should definitely try some service and see if it ranks.

No, it's not the same. While getting additional links from a high-authority site you’ve already used can still provide value, it’s usually diminishing returns compared to getting links from a new domain.
