Mass Delete Direct Messages in Twitter

Is there anything out there that will mass delete direct messages sent to you at twitter?
Also, does it matter if you delete them or not?

My guess would be he spams DM's to others and wants to delete all the replies at once.

The only reason I want to delete them is because maybe when they reach a certain ammount something could happen to the account, maybe?

Yes - Tweet Adder does that. I also have BirdyAdder but only installed that not that used it.

Im wondering why you want to delete those...

If you read them at all, it gets to be tough once they pile up in the 100s. But I've also seen speculation that it's a red flag on accounts when they just pile up.

Sign up for free account with SocialOomph, register you Twitter account with them and select to Purge DM's.
They provide several options of whether you want to purge all DM's or DM's over 7 days old or DM's over 30 days old (something like that).
