how do we know that we have ADHD ? i felt many times that I have all symptoms of ADHD (as per google). Am going into depression too at times.

Go and watch a video on YouTube called lobotomy operation then come back and tell me if ADHD is really a issue, I mean it only disrupts the executive function on time perception meaning it's manic, there's two variants hyper and distracted then theres both.

The term coincided with teachers complaining about students not catching up or disturbing the class, it's been deemed a tabo in historical literature as being possessed, and mentally disturbed.

When you watch that video on YouTube you'll have a better appreciation, that's not to say that someone who has ADHD cannot be a problem drugs can really devistate someone who gets little dopamine due to less stimulation.

It's hard to believe a person got rewarded a Nobel price for lobotomy, however you can call ADHD what ever you want it predates literature.
