Hacked telegram account recovery

Not sure if this is the correct thread but hope I get some help. Mod can move it to the appropriate forum. Someone hacked my telegram I dont know how and changed the recovery email. When I try to recover using sms telegram tells me "due to high cost of SMS in your country , you need a teegram premium account to immediately reset this email via SMS code. I am currently broke and I'm afraid that the guy might decide to text my contacts and spam them. Is there a quick remedy to this? Thank you all.

Are you logged out of the telegram account ?? If you are then that's where the problem is , you'll have to pay for the telegram premium unless you'll lose your account

In order to this, you should have turned on the options for back up and recovery on your telegram account settings. Also, report it to telegram that your account was hacked for them to check the activity going on to your account.

Yes was logged out. I guess will have to pay for premium. Thanks though.

Reported to telegram and waiting for them to get back. If they don't help out will pay for the premium.
