What is the best way to get products listed on Google Merchant Center that are grey area?

We see a lot of our competitors doing this, but we can not seem to get ours listed. Should we just keep trying until it gets approved?

Walk me through what you've done so far.

You hooked the GMC account up to a Google Ads account and ran some PPC campaigns? What else have you done?

We are trying to get the products approved on GMC which is failing. We have tried setting the products up under various accounts and they all seem to fail.

We do german based e-commerce approved on gmc

May I know what issue notification is the GMC showing you?
ANY US based GMC account made would fail into Misrepresentation within a month now.

Google became paranoid.

Get whitelisted by making a whitehat website, spend 50$+ and then replace products by greyhat products

Use neutral wording, avoid trigger terms, clean up landing pages, and tweak + resubmit feed. Tools like DataFeedWatch help. Keep testing. Many use multiple GMC accounts.

Man, I feel this so hard. I'm noticing the exact same thing — US and UK GMC = absolute nightmare lately.
No matter how clean your site is, how white-hat your setup, or how legit your business — it’s like walking on a landmine field. One wrong metadata tag and boom… Misrepresentation

Meanwhile in Europe...
Submit. Wait 3 days. Approved. Running ads like it's 2019.
Feels like Google’s trust system got Brexit too

I’m now testing ultra-local signals (like .co.uk domains, virtual UK addresses, even local GBP return policies) — but still feels like they just don’t want new accounts to exist in the UK/US anymore unless you’re Nike or Amazon.

Would love to hear if anyone has found a consistent workaround that isn’t just “pray and reapply”.

you will loose the the your google ad and merchant account if you try multiple times product approval
you will get suspend and need to go for appeal which is difficult for grey products
