Hey everyone!

I'm new to the game of automation, and after hours on youtube and poking around on this forum I think I'm finally ready to get started. I've my VPS and software (GSA SER) ready to roll, and will be using GSA Verified Lists for my projects.

I have many sites, with tier 1 web 2.0 and some guest post links built. I plan to use SER to build my tier 2 links pointing to tier 1. I have read alot on here that contextual links are best, but I haven't been able to find much about how to use the software to build those specifically. So, my questions:

1. What are you general best practices for building tier 2 links using SER
2. What settings / strategies do you employ specifically for contextual links?

It's worth noting that my aim is power up my google listings for lead generation by increasing the authority of my associated sites.

Also, I'm considering using openAI to create the content, specifically for the article posting feature within SER. Can openAI integrate directly with SER or do I need GSA content generator for that?

Thanks for all your help!

if youre just using those links for tiering, theres no need for much filtering, just go for everything contextual. from the 'where to submit' pane on your project screen, right click > check all, then right click > uncheck engines that use no contextual links. that will select all the engines that allow contextual links. hopefully your links list will have enough ammo to keep these engines fed for a while.

you can use openai content as well as other ai services, either directly in the SER article manager window, as a macro, or if you make your own apis via the #file macro

How does GSR know how to build contextual links? Is it based on KW's input? Contextual links would be ones on pages that related to my niche, correct?

As you've mentioned earlier that you've bought GSA verified list. So, it'll use that list and build the links based on your settings. Anchor texts, URL, Content, etc..
Contextual links means the hyperlinked texts inside the content/ article body. It doesn't have to do anything about the niche. Such as if your verified list contains article directories/ web2.0 sites/ wiki etc.. then GSA will publish your content on those sites and place your anchor text and url inside the content body.

I hope that helps.

Yes definitely! Thanks for clearing that up! So is it recommended to only use contextual links for tier 2? I suppose there are many differing opinions...

GSA SER knows if a link its building is contextual as that is specified by the engine's author (which is quite often me!) in the platform script. contextual links are ones inserted into the articles you post that are related to your niche. if you try to use automated link building to only post on sites entirely in your niche your target list will most likely be 0 domains. the best you can do is make sure your articles are properly related
