I've seen this with the latest Google update with just affiliate websites. Keep testing and keep exploring. Maybe this website will not recover anymore but don't quit that easy.

Convert the blog to a business site for it to rank again.
A business site has almost all the EEATS signals available. Trust from customers (testimonials). A real business offering a service not just another affiliate/adsense blog.

Convert your site to real business offering a service while you use the blog section to still create your articles and continue ranking.

That's the way to approach this update.

Have testimonials on your homepage, the service offering, have your real address on footer, terms of service, etc.
Something like that and you should be good to go.

That's what I've learned over the months since this update. Real business sites not blogs are the ones ranking for a while now.
