Hi all, I have a channel which has around 6.5k subscribers which were mainly gained via shorts. I also have posted around 20 long form videos, but have only garnered around 400 watch hours from these, I'm never going to get monetized thru shorts as even with high chose to view vs swiped & high retention, they just weren't getting passed 10-12k views. Would it be safe to buy the watch hours from a panel? Or buy some views in the hope to kickstart one of the videos? Any help/advice would be much appreciated

I got a short with 88% viewed and 235% retention stuck at 13k views. I have plenty of shorts with 80%+ viewed rate that do not go past 12k. These are viral short metrics. It still doesn't get pushed. It's clearly not just swipe rate and retention that decides if a short gets pushed or not.

I know right, I'm literally starting to feel more and more like shorts are just a lottery unless your one of the big channels

You can buy views, it's not monetized yet, I don't think they will ban you if you buy decent views
But my priority would be increasing the quality of these videos with such numbers...

My speculation would be that channel history might have affect on it. You can build it or you can verify your channel. My verified channel does significantly better than others. Did you get your channel verified?

you can buy views but don't get to desperate adding huge ammounts of fake views because is bad, you can also use social media to get more discoverability and there post your shorts don't post large videos only shorts and move that people to your youtube channel,.

How many views would you say is acceptable, to maybe give a little boost?
I will try the shorts on social media, would you just post them to relevant groups etc?

If I were you, I'd buy views for your long-form videos from panels.

That's the way forward because, with shorts, it's just too erratic and too random for it to lead to your channel's monetization.

It is almost impossible to find a working panel. If you find it, share it with us.

I wouldn't buy it from an SMM panel. Better wait and keep uploading, you wouldn't make much anyway if you're not getting that many views. Waste of time, money, and risking your channel.

I had same problem with you before sir, enough subscribers for long but lack of watch hours.
I couldnt wait anymore, i bought watch time from a panel. Its quite expensive but my channel was monetized last week

Buying views is very risky, I advise you not to do it.
