Hi All,

Newbie trying to sell on Amazon. To get used to my seller account I am selling some old records. I have a few questions

Which is the most profitable delivery method, FBA or FBM? For fragile items like a vinyl would the liability for breakage stay with Amazon if I choose FBA?

I have never sold before. Can anyone advise on whether it is worth paying for reviews to build reputation at this stage?

Thanks

LP

I think FBA has amazing shipping and handling. I don't know about paying for reviews because you might get caught.

As a new seller is FBA is best choice. Pick pack and ship & support is Amazon's responsibility.

FBM is fulfill by Merchant. In this model you will have to pick pack and ship your order and also you will have to provide support by yourself in this model
I see, thank you for explaining.
FBA is better in this case

FBA tend to be cheaper, but I'm not sure when you include taxes and fees

Yeah, FBA is better if you do not want to take headache. You will have to set your pricing after calculating your sourcing + labelling cost + ship to Amazon + FBA pick pack fee + Referral Fee

Does FBA always include VAT (sales tax depending on country of sale)? Do you have a choice in this?

After crossing the sales threshold of £85000 in UK. You will have to register for VAT. After giving VAT number in seller central, Amazon will automatically deduct VAT from each and every sales
