I will start creating a p*rn website - I have some questions

I will start a porn website in my native language, but i will not even upload a single video, I will only upload GIF pictures,

Please answer my questions below :

1- If i upload GIFs, will i be uploading too much on my hosting ? for example can i still manage a 2gb or 4gb VPS hosting after uploading 1000 GIFs? (each post will have 1 GIF, so in total im planning to upload 1000 posts on my website) because each of the GIFs are about 5mb

It is too much on your hosting if you exceed the space otherwise is not too much.
If you have only 4GB on your VPS you can't upload 1000 gif x 5mb because that's about 5 GB

thanks so much man, i converted gif to webp and it went from 3mb to 375kb

btw are you sure my gifs i mean webp gifs will stay on my website forever? im afraid that those gifs might dissapaer or something after sometime, what's the difference between gif and webp btw? because it went down from 3mg to 375kb which is great

Besides the file size, you'll need hosting speed to handle the traffic - take this into account

4gb ram vps can handle 10.000+ visitors / day but your bandwidth should be more than 100 mbit (for blogs) , and preferably 500 mbit+ for videos / gifs.. (for serving the 10k+ visitors / daily). if you didt buy the vps yet, chose a kvm and nvme VPS near your target customers country..
