Do you guys suggest that I post content on my account as soon as it is created or should I wait a week or 2 or does it not matter.

I have heard that it could lead to Instagram thinking it’s a spam/bot account.

What are you guys opinions on this?

You can post content but not spam it. first of all complete the profile, then start to post without spam it and donot use spammy contents.

It's true that Instagram misunderstood you as a bot, the amount of interaction will reflect the quality of the user. If you create an account but haven't posted it yet, it will mean that the clone account shows signs of inactivity => this is abnormal.
But don't worry, just post regularly 2-3 times a week and you're done
