I use total upkeep. I have a good process to setup a site, and isntall it there, and setup the weekly and wp pre-updates backups to cloud. Takes 10 minutes to setup each site, but after that never an issue, its a solid programming outfit.

Without migrator addon it can only work on same domain. For migration to different domain you need the addon.
But it is safe and secure.
