Wow.
Just come across this page yesterday with 8k members called something along the lines of "Muslim and proud" or something.
(This just happened to pop-up on my news feed of a fake account - i'm not muslim) but the owners promoting a free quran, and he posted a status update saying "get your free quran here:"
and like 5 people replied saying "OMG its a virus" bla bla bla. So i downloaded it, and sure enough, it's a virus. I know we shouldn't really be monetizing religion, but is this a good idea?
He's also selling pray mats and some kind of islamic food (I doubt he's getting many sales)...
So i'm wondering whether something like this would work with the new fb roadblock?
Not that i'm planning to hack - never have and don't intend to, but it seems like an interesting idea - the offering of free qurans etc - you could use pay per download or something...
And I've lost the page now (it may be still alive) but I couldnt find it in the fb search box.
