How to work canonical seo

Hello, I guess there is an SEO work being done with the canonical tag, in search results. A strong domain is used in the background, but a newly acquired domain without a link appears in the search results.

When I click on the "about this page" button of the new and without backlink domain in the search results, the domain that appears is the strong and different domain.

Does anyone know about this system?

Also, you can check any URL forwarding or masking configurations and adjust them accordingly to reflect the correct domain in search results

canonicals tags are not meant to redirect or show different pages to users, it's only made for the bots,
you're most likely referring to redirects or cloacked pages, your post is really unclear

Are you sure that's what you're seeing? It seems as though it's a 301 redirect, but I don't see why the other domain would be presently ranking.

The reason why I think it is Canonical is that when I first queried the domain with the Rich Results Test, I saw that there was a different domain address in the canonical section. But I couldn't see it later, they blocked it.

Competition is very strong in Turkish search results and it is a word where black SEO is made.

At the same time, it is ranked when you search with this powerful domain VPN. But when I search with Türkiye IP, the new and weak domain appears in the rankings.

Thank you for answer. Yes, Turkish search results have become completely different in the last 3-4 years. While we used to be in very good positions in the industry with the right SEO moves, now we always have to research and try such things.

people were using syndicated content with canonicals pointing back to their own sites, think press releases etc. they kinda worked as mass 301s. it worked, so google stepped in and tried to put a stop to it: https://developers.google.com/searc...calization-troubleshooting#syndicated-content

It seems you're experiencing a 301 redirect. Which is something very easy to do even without hosting for the site you want to redirect from.
