In recent months several sites have allowed you to create music with very good quality, and probably between now and this year the level will rise further.

Music distributors are on alert, Tunecore already does not allow the uploading of music produced by AI or in any case threatens fines and cancellations.

By not completely relying on AI, perhaps by writing the text or doing other operations by hand, you can stand out from the crowd and perhaps manage to get some traffic.

But how do we monetize it?

YT channel yes, but I have read here that a lot of people say that having success with a YT channel in 2024 is very hard.

For Spotify not directly...you need to use a distro like Tunecore, Distrokit, or similar, but here it seems that they are near to starting a war against AI.

Yes, I have read that could be a good opportunity, but to have a song in the Tik Tok library, I believe you need to use a music distributor, or are you talking about creating videos that use the songs?

As a music distribution platform owner I can tell you why, no streaming platform wants to deal with AI-generated spam. Therefore, every distro is required to reject low-quality AI-generated songs to maintain a fair playing field.

there is people that create like intros, outtros for videos the send you to a website where you can download it for free or small donation, get a website get some ads and get donations this was really common before but if you get really good AI music could work and more if is not copyright at all many people could use it.

You can be successful on YouTube monetizing AI music. You need to use it in some good quality video content or animations.

There are already plenty of us monetizing this. Realistically, the floor of quality is already so obscenely low in music (speaking generally), so the only real thing you have to do is personalize it somewhat. Becomes quite a simple task if you have even low level capabilities in music production.

It seems Tunecore is heavily against using music made with AI. It's funny how they offer a mastering service USING AI but won't also AI music. I can understand that some people will spam them with AI music and it's still in a grey area legally, but it's still hypocritical of them.

Anyways, you can try your luck using a different music distributor. There are so many new ones and some offer more features than Tunecore as well. E.g. Amuse, Distrokid, RouteNote, etc.

There's Suno, Aiva, and many other services. You can google them. Many of them offer a free plan but if you want higher limits or the rights to the created music then you'll have to pay a subscription. Each platform has different ownership terms so make sure you read them.

ive put out about 200 ai tracks im not seeing a problem with them so far? i either mix/master them myself and drop the pitch by a semitone or 2. ive just recently used Bandlabs free mastering tool so we will see hows those do. Maybe have better prompts? I personally know ALOT of people using AI in music with zero issues. id assume anyone with an issue has SUPER low quality

Has anyone tried AudioModify maybe, what are your experiences with it? I found that it has some cool features when it comes to sound, and even a voice customization works really good. Worth a try definitely, you will even get a royalty free output so you can publish.
