ORM is just something that helps you recover your spoiled reputation over internet. suppose there are some negative or bad news if you search your name in google. And you want that content to take down or suppress low in search results when someone search your names. Then ORM services comes in front.

I'd also add that some ORM services are more proactive than reactive in nature as well. You don't necessarily need to have had a PR crisis and a spoiled reputation before you can consider investing into ORM. Most organizations that attempt to fill up the SERPs for their brand keywords ahead of time drastically decrease the damage negative results cause as soon as they present themselves. It's basically like purchasing insurance against future reputation fiascos.

I've been into ORM for around 9 years now, Its basically managing the client's reputation on various different digital platforms...
We mostly try to keep it above 4.0 on Google, yelp etc, for eg... if someone does a negative review, we try to contact the person to see why he did that and if there's anything that could be done to change their opinion...
If not, we just post reviews for them ourselves to get back that 4.0 rating!
