Need help: music distributor

I did some research on here but I need help with some questions that remain unanswered:

-Is it possible to use a VPN to open/use an account with a music distributor? Some people on this site say that Distrokid and Amuse ban VPNs.

-With any distro, what ID verifications steps are you asked for (ID card number? ID card photo ? smartphone selfie ?) and when (on signup? or only when withdrawing the money?)

it depends on the distro cdbaby and distrokid will often ban on vpn
for id verification some of them are really strict like symphonic

They all have risk tbh. Know one service that is pretty dated and easy to avoid getting banned. won't say publicly but feel free to message me and I can tell you
