Hello Good People on BHW !

So recently i have been tweaking MEmu with the proxy and i just don't know where is the problem at all
I have difficulty using proxycap or proxifier (not connected even after i set it up).
usually will be showing loading error on browser.

but even if its connected the IP still showing my real IP

I am now using residential Proxies (IP Royal) with USER PASS authentication.
I want to use it for Instagram Apps on MEmu (different instance with different proxy).

Just to be clear the residential Proxies working fine with anti - detect browser but not with the MEmu.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

I have same problem idk what to do. I tried so many methods and not work. Actually using Incogniton and on this browser proxy is working, but on memu not work.

Are you using a proxy app within the Android emulator? An app like Super Proxy or socksdroid should do the job.

Sorry if it's stupid question, but adding proxy in the MEmu Android session (settings/network) isn't enough?

If you're taking about in the Android settings then, unfortunately, in a lot of cases it's not.

It will depend on your usage but a lot of Android apps will not honour these settings and need to be 'forced' using a third party proxy app like the ones mentioned in my last message.

Thanks, I am new to this field :)
Assuming we have a good proxy and proxy app, how good (or bad) is MEmu to stay undetected?

I can't comment on this particular emulator unfortunately as I don't have much experience with it. I will say that emulators can be prone to leaving footprints though especially if you can't tinker with device details etc.

Could you recommend any good (paid ok) emulators that leave the least fingerprints?

I read on Memu's site that at first installation it detects the real ip address.
Change proxy in the network settings only work for browser not the apps running on it.

Yes i already try super proxy and socksdroid but still failed to achieved what i want.

Try socks5 protocols proxy
will try this later if i already have the resource to restart the project again.

yes thats correct. thats why i change it with an app that i installed on the Memu and configure the proxy within the app.

but its still failed.

If you want every instance have their own IP, you should use proxy client in the emulator. Maybe Nekobox/matsuri. go find it in github, not from playstore.
Im using this 2 apps and its support many protocol.

Im not sure about instagram, but i have been using this 2 apps for some of my target apps and its working and i think i should work for instagram.
And im not sure does instagram implementing vpn/proxy detection that could cause harm into the account.
The only concern in emulator is device build info, it's still far from perfect for emulating real cell phone devices. Maybe you could try different emulator if memu failing for your use case.
