Small Update:

My pinterest has been starting to take off. I get now 40 outbound clicks per day which is very close to my goal. And this is only by posting one pin per day. I am now at 40k views per month and I am positive that I am going to hit 100k.



This week 50% of my traffic is going to just one article that is constructed like a list of recommendations. I found some pictures of the products taken by people via customer reviews (i know it's risky) but the pins with the these photos have all taken off.

So, because I am in the niche of fashion, I will go in the stores and try to take similar photos to not have any copyright issues. All the pins with AI pictures have gone nowhere. People will always prefer real pictures rathen than AI.

I have now discovered that I can write html code via AI, and I have created a shop the products plugins, and a my favorites plugin that will be on the bottom of the page to start getting affiliate sales.

Next Steps:

For Pinterest:
- Go from 1 pin per day to 2 pins per day with a mix of pins to attract more saves to increase engangement
- Post my pins on Tailwind groups so to attract repins from bigger accounts
- I will use my personal account to pin from the site (to increase overall engagement)

For Site:
- Post more articles (both quality ones and list of recommendation ones)
- Finish the plugins and find affiliate products
- Take some of my own photos to use to not have copyright issues



That's all for now! I think it's going very well so far, and If I put more time and effort it can bring some really good results!

One thing I noticed is Avg session duration which is low, means that either the article quality is low or your pins are not targeting the right audience, this will affect your ads earnings in the future, work on improving it by making your articles more engaging

Yeah I can also see that my avg session is too low and also my bounce rate. I can think of two reasons. One is that my most popular article (which is half my traffic) is a small list of recommendations with small text for each one and images. So it's easy to click and skim through the article fast and get the information you clicked for. All my other articles are 1.5 k - 2k words with subheadlines, visuals etc so I think they are enganging.

Other reason is I think because Pinterest traffic usually just clicks and skims through fast, as I do the same when clicking on pins.

I will be trying now to make the overall experience more enganging, with more good structured text, with recommending other relevant articles, and having an extra QA at the the bottom. I will try to get some quality and conservational comments and we will see how all this will affect the avg session.

Do you know maybe what a good healthy number should be for a blog? I'm guessing 1 min?

For my blog, it's between 1 and 2 minutes, but I use a lot of techniques to increase reading time ( key takeaways is one of them, like telling the benefits of the article in the first section )

Yeah I will do the key takeaways for sure. I asked also chatgpt for some ideas and I am taking notes from other bloggers.
I think I will try to write longer content but in small 1-2 sentences so it's skimmable.

As I am writing my own content I will try to get better at it at least until I can afford a writer.

Also, except the takeways, I have seen some posts with q and a's at the end, and I will also try to post some comments that seem conservational to increase avg session time. We will see how it goes.

next, you have to get into an ad network to monetize the views

the way you make money with this is loading as many ads as possible on your landing page, so whoever click gets shown a lot of ads. then you make money off this

the problem is you need to get accepted into google adsense or other ad networks that will pay you

i have no experience with this. it could be a big huge pain in the ass hole to get into google ad sense, or mediavine. i know some of those mother fcker ad networks are very very picky. the point is, it's not simple to get your site accepted even if you go through the work to build up your traffic

and if you cannot get accepted in an ad network, then you will not make money

the traffic you get will not be buyers, so you can not expect to sell product/service to them to make money

the only way you can make money off them is by showing them a bunch of ads, so getting into an ad network is essential to make any money with this method

ultimately, it depend what you want to invest your time in

me personally, this would be no different compared to me applying on upwork for freelance jobs. both posting pin daily and applying for job daily is the same grunt work

you basically put in the effort every day, and at some point you get some result down the line

i would say the main thing to look at with this method is make sure you can guarantee yourself entry into an ad network

if you cannot get into an ad network to put ads on your website and make money, then you are fucked

there is no other way

I have about 10 posts. Not a lot actually. I am trying to speed up the process of creating content but I am also trying to make long enganging content as my avg session is too low.

I make 10 pins per articles and post 1 per week.

Okay, so I don't agree with you on some things you said. My niche is not "make money online", it is two big women focused niches. Also, Pinterest traffic is traffic that is ready to buy. When someone searches for white sneakers and they see my list of top 10 white chic sneakers filled with affiliate links, they are ready to buy. I am still searching for affiliate networks that have the brands that I want to promote, so still looking into it. But, it's posssible to make money with affiliate marketing and not display ads. "Making money" niche is too saturated, there are other niches that are way better.

Then, it may take a lot of work, but after getting some steady traffic and earnings, you can hire 1-2 cheap VA's to do the most work for you, so it is not even close to freelancing, because you are the owner. Then, also you can sell it if you want for 10-20x the price.

Also, Mediavine is a premium network and I know it is hard to get in. They have also Journey which you need 10k sessions to get in, but even if they don't accept you they are other alternatives like Ezoic or Shemedia.

I don't see this as get rich quick method, I see it as a business that I want to scale, and repeat in the future by managing 2-3 domains and flipping some of them.

You can apply to freelancing jobs all day, earn some money, but in the end you own nothing.

I think it’s a mix of both. 95% of my designs are with big text and click to action. Encourages to open the page to find information.

EVERYONE wants to make money online. we all are here because we want to make money online. you are here because you want to make money online

so these pins on make money online in pinterest, guess what happens? people scroll and see it, and they want to make money online too. so this get the most click

but again, with the ad network. you NEED to get into an ad network to make money with this

this is VERY VERY important. you have to be careful though because like i said before, those mother fucker mediavine, they will make it extremely difficult to get in. super high standards, they want you to be perfect before they allow you in

regardless, the point is still clear, you need to get into an ad network and start blasting ads to all your traffic, if you want to make money with this

people do not do this method to sell affiliate product. selling product/service with this pinterest method will not work, i am telling you. the way this method work is to blast the ads at people. that's the money maker, so get in an ad network

hiring VAs you can do, would just be another expense to take into consideration. need to find competent VAs that can write the content though, so there is that

as far as doing this compared to freelance. well, you have to understand, that pinterest can ass fuck you at any moment

pinterest is not your friend. those piece of shit dirt bag banned an ad account of mine one time, and they didn't give any explanation why even after i emailed them. they just deleted my account because some of my ads have been rejected

they can delete everything you own, delete all your account, take it all away. so you cannot say, you "own this", you don't

same thing can happen with upwork, piece of shit upwork can ass fuck freelancer accounts with 100k+ of earning history. just with snap of a finger, take it all away. ass fuck them just like that
