Goodbye facebook pages :/

Well guys, another huge problem has arisen and I'm not sure how anyone will end up getting by this.

Look at the admins response. You have to get verified in order to let people land on your FBML tab automatically, from now on you can only let people land on your wall or info section. It will be much more difficult to make viral pages

Why not just get 10k and get verified? Or be creative and use the "Info" tab with a link to FBML tab.

What do you mean?
You can still have the fbml as coming page for fans even if the page isn't verified?

Sprouts - yeah you can do that it just seems to me like you would lose quite a bit of traffic. Problem is if you make a page that facebook doesn't like, for example the whole point of the page being an FBML thing that wants you to do CPA or whatever, I doubt you would get by with that with facebook

Think who uses this service. Who needs the page to open to fbml. Those pages still go there.
That's your solution. Make a page like the big guys and you still can have it ipen on fbml.
Pm me if your stuck. I have a bunch of pages classified this way and still opens to fbml. I would love to unload as I have another set of pages going viral

I don't even see most of the traffic even linking directly to the fbml.

If someone does a forced invite all friends/like, then it still goes to the main part of the page, the wall.

If you do some kind of wall posting/friend messaging/whatever then I guess it sucks.

This is the funniest crap I have ever seen. Fan pages are not the only way to monetize facebook.. just the easiest. everyone is following a template and then wonders why it doesn't work forever

Fact is.. even if they did away with fan pages COMPLETELY facebook would still be a goldmine.. think of all the other ways you can reach your friends other than fan pages.. fan pages are just a lazy man's best friend thats all..

Besides this is far from the end of fan pages.. why not just get the page verified.. is it that impossible if you;re making several hundred a day off of each one?

This is the end of lazy fucks making a quick buck by saturating a market with spam.. kudos to facebook for this lol..

yesterday i have only two options:Info & Wall,and today it is well and have FBML page as default,but I thinks someting must do better than just spam FBML PAGE with facebook marketing,and facebook is not a place for ads.it is scoial marketing
